Life Science Day 2014
Life Science Day 2014 took place on October 16, 2014 in the Henry Ford Building of Freie Universität Berlin. The event was organized by BIOCOM AG.
How do we manage to stay healthy in old age? Which treatment options for age-related diseases does modern medicine offer today and in the future? How can an aging society be medically treated in the future?
These and other questions were the focus of the Life Science Day, which was organized for the fourth time by the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district and the Berlin SÜDWEST regional management in cooperation with Freie Universität Berlin and Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Under the motto “Healthy in old age – medicine on new paths”, around 300 experts from science and industry met in Berlin-Dahlem to discuss the latest developments in medical research as well as practical applications and examples. The conference took place as part of the “Berlin Health Week”. In an accompanying exhibition, experts informed themselves about further latest developments and exchanged views with others.
