Berlin, 11.1.2021 – Cleaner, more multimedia and technically up-to-date – the biooekonomie.de platform, developed by BIOCOM, is now sporting a new, elegant look.
The biooekonomie.de Internet platform of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) provides the latest news and background information on a wide range of bioeconomy-related topics. It has now been given a new design and offers better orientation in terms of search and navigation.
An important new feature is the multimedia section. Here, there are not only videos and podcasts, but also in-depth reports and brochures. The new design is brighter and uses the entire screen for presenting topics. The central sections of news, topics, actors, research, funding and economy make it easier for users to navigate through the realm of the bioeconomy. All previous bioeconomy.de content has moved to the new site.
A research atlas leads to universities, clusters and other organisations that are looking for bio-based innovations. An overview of research funding, its sources and tender modalities can also be found. Dossiers, expert interviews and small potraits of pioneers in biotechnology provide access to key topics.
biooekonomie.de was launched in 2016 and was developed and implemented by BIOCOM on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In doing so, we provide the complete content and technical maintenance of the website. In addition, we produce various print publications as part of this contract and support the BMBF in its communication strategy for the bioeconomy.
