Life Science Communications Assistant (m/f/d) 

Biology + Communication = BIOCOM. Content-driven and results-oriented since 1986: Our highly qualified, interdisciplinary team of around 30 employees analyses and communicates the development of modern life sciences, biotechnology and bioeconomy in politics, business, science and society. 

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented   

Life Science Communications Assistant (m/f/d) 

Location: Remote/Hybrid 
Type: 20hr/week
Duration: temporary (12 Months)
Reports to: EU Project Manager    

Job Description :

  • Create blog posts, newsletters, infographics, and other digital content.  
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contributors to ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.  
  • Develop, schedule, and monitor posts across relevant social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, X, YouTube).  
  • Engage with the audience, respond to inquiries, and track metrics to evaluate impact.   
  • Help coordinate virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, workshops, and conferences.  
  • Manage event promotion and registration, liaise with vendors, and track attendance and feedback.  
  • Provide logistical and technical support during events, ensuring smooth operations. 

Ideal Profile:

  • Student or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.  
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing trends.  
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience with event coordination and life sciences or research sector knowledge is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in design and content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable. 
  • Organisational skills, initiative, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
